They are a multidisciplinary team of proven professionals and entrepreneurs who are energized by the excitement of building a new modern exploration and mining business.

Board of Directors

Ian Mathieson - Non-Executive Chairman

Ian has over 35 years of experience advising on corporate and commercial matters in a broad range of industries that includes the resources sector, forestry, and commercial investment. He has broad experience in project financing, feasibility and business management. He has led business transformations to profitability.

Ian was the Director, financier, and owner of South Australia Mining Resources, which operated the Kanmantoo open-cut copper mine. In this role he successfully negotiated challenging environmental and indigenous matters.

The Board considers that Ian is not an Independent Director.

Mark Fisher - Non-Executive Director

B.Sc. (Geological Engineering)

Mark is a highly accomplished resources executive with over 35 years of experience. His skills and experience include strategic business planning, feasibility, project management, organisation design, mine engineering and mine management. Mark’s combination of skills and depth of experience has consistently produced profitable and sustainable outcomes in complex settings delivering increased shareholder value.

Mark’s extensive global leadership and operational experience includes senior positions with Placer Dome Inc and Barrick Gold Corporation over a period of decades. Most recently, Mark was President of the Global Copper division for Barrick Gold Corporation, executing the development strategy for its portfolio of key copper assets in South America, Africa, Middle East, and Asia.

The Board considers that Mark is an Independent Director.

Gregory Anderson - Non-Executive Director

B.Sc. (Geology), FAusIMM

Greg was an Executive Director of the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum for 28 years. He was responsible for developing the Chamber into a peak industry body with major input into legislation and policy changes that has underpinned the development of PNG’s world-class resource industry.

Greg was formerly a director of the Australian PNG Geological Survey from 1986-89 where he was responsible for the overall management of mining and petroleum exploration in PNG.

Greg’s contribution to the mining industry in PNG was recognised in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honour List, by an award of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

The Board considers that Greg is an Independent Director.

Genesio Circosta - Non-Executive Director

Genesio is a highly skilled geologist with over 40 year’s experience leading gold discoveries in PNG, China, Southeast Asia (Laos and Thailand), South Australia and Northern Queensland.

Genesio worked with Placer Dome for 17 years, managing near-mine exploration programs on projects including the Kidston Gold Mine in Queensland and the Misima Mine in PNG, as well as managing grassroots exploration projects in Indonesia, Philippines, China, and Mongolia.

Genesio has extensive experience in managing exploration for gold, copper, zinc, lead and mineral sands. He was Exploration Manager for NQM (Pajingo Mine – Minjar Gold) and Principal Geologist for Evolution Mining Limited. He maintains a consulting role with NQM.

The Board considers that Genesio is an Independent Director.

Management Team

Marty Noakes - Processing Facility Project Manager

Marty has more than 30 years of minerals processing experience from plant design to construction, operations, and decommissioning. He is particularly skilled at identifying opportunities for effective utilisation of plant and equipment to support sustainable operations.

Marty’s experience in commissioning, upgrading and optimising processing plant efficiencies includes projects such as Red Dome Gold Mine, Kanowna Belle Gold Mine and South Deep Gold Mine (South Africa) and Copler Gold Sulphide Project (Turkey).

Georg Radeck - Far Fanning Project Manager

Georg has over 40 years of Australian and International mining experience with an extensive knowledge of open pit and underground mining operations.

Georg commenced his mining career in Mt Isa. He had a long and successful global career working for Placer Dome, Barrick and Newcrest as a Project and Business Manager and Operations Leader. He has led new construction projects, mine expansions and operations.

Georg is a relentless proponent for mine safety. He has a passion for embedding operational efficiencies in business to ensure positive outcomes for all stakeholders.

Nick Harding - Company Secretary / CFO

BA (Acc), Grad Dip (Acc), Grad Dip (App Fin), Grad Dip (Corp Gov), FCPA, F Fin, AGIA, ACIS

Nick is a Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA) with extensive executive and senior management experience across the resources and agribusiness sectors in the areas of finance, commercial, corporate governance, and company administration.

He performed roles of Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Company Secretary through his professional services company for a number of ASX listed entities over the past 15 years, taking some of these through to the evaluation phase and into development and production.

Prior to this, over a 20-year period, he held senior finance management roles with WMC Resources, Normandy Mining/Newmont Australia, and Beach Energy.
